Super beautiful handmade tin box with an extra small lid inside that seals extra tight. Good to have around - for small items, but especially made for tea and coffee - I use mine for tea or the ugly instant coffee, so it becomes more beautifully wrapped! The tin boxes are produced in Japan and polished by hand. Syuro focuses on natural materials that develop a beautiful patina, and part of the charm and aesthetic is that you can see the can or box being used. I have personally been to Syuro's store in Tokyo, and it is ultra aesthetic, beautiful, and very simple. I searched and searched for a quarter of an hour, where no one else has stores. So crazy and lovely and Japanese! |
