SYURO

SyuRo – handmade creativity

The beautiful tins and boxes are handmade and come from Japanese SyuRo. Folded and polished with a special attention to detail. The name Syuro means palm tree in Japanese, and the inspiration for the entire design firm's spirit is the palm tree with its leaves that open like an outstretched hand. They call it "handmade creativity".

The materials are tin, copper, brass – materials close to nature, materials that develop a beautiful patina, become softer with age, and are meant to show that they are used.

I use my boxes and tins for all sorts of things. Tea, coffee beans, buttons, sweets (shhh, don’t tell my children🤫), office supplies, jewelry, all sorts of things. I love them! You can also take them apart (into lid and base) and use each part as a small tray or bowl. For example, in the kitchen next to the stove as a tray for oil and salt and pepper or in the bathroom for creams. It is entirely up to you how you want to use them, but one thing is certain: they are beautiful everywhere!
