A beautifully proportioned and useful teak ladle with a large oval and pointed head. 30 cm teak ladle, designed for use in pots, rather than for scooping or serving. The lave of the spoon (the hole in the head of the spoon) is therefore relatively flat, so that food can be easily knocked off. The pointed head of the spoon reaches all the way into the groove at the bottom of the pot, and the flat side is suitable for scraping. The edge is sharp enough for the purpose, and the teak wood makes the spoon so strong that it will not chip or wear down in use. The ladle is inspired by the wonderful spoons that were once sold in the legendary kitchen shop E. Dehillerin in Paris. They were marked with the length in centimeters, so you could quickly see which version you had in your hand. The marking of the spoon is therefore a tribute. |
