The mushroom brush is made of oiled birch wood with horsehair – and a good grip. It is good for washing potatoes or other root vegetables that have been in the soil. Fresh mushrooms lose their flavor when rinsed in water – dirt and soil should therefore be brushed or cut away. It can also be used as a pastry brush.
Color: Natural, wood
Material: Birch wood and horsehair
Dimensions: The brush is 16 cm long
Maintenance: Iris Hantverk recommends: "To prevent the wood from drying out and cracking and/or the thin steel wire holding the bristles from breaking, we advise against putting the brushes in the dishwasher. If the bristles have become flat and/or tangled, you can straighten them by combing them with a fork or similar, and then possibly gather them with a rubber band and leave it for a while. Greasy bristles can be rinsed with boiling water – or soaked in soapy water."
