Handmade pot in terracotta. It is made in Crete, Greece by a family that has crafted pots for generations.
The material is stoneware clay, fired at a very high temperature, which makes the pot frost-resistant. However, all excess water must drain away before frost sets in.
They can be used both outdoors and indoors; there is a hole in the bottom, so indoors you should place something underneath – for example, a vintage plate.
