A classic from Italian Alessi.
"A kettle can be beautiful!" they said at ALESSI, and in 1983 Richard Sapper designed the 9091 kettle, also known as the Two-Tone-Kettle. And it IS beautiful. And it even sounds good! One of the tasks in designing the kettle was to avoid the persistent whistle usually associated with kettles that whistle. So the 'spout' at the front of the kettle whistles in two tones when the water boils – reportedly with a tone inspired by the riverboats on the Rhine.
The kettle can be used on electric, gas, and induction stoves and can hold 2 liters.
