Østerland is a Danish brand that we greatly admire – both for its beautiful design and the strong social narrative behind it.
The brand works with local crafts from the Middle East and Central Asia and collaborates with small producers and social enterprises in regions with proud craft traditions. At DORA, we are particularly fond of the colourful silk cushions woven by Syrian women in Turkey. They add warmth, texture, and history to the home.
