This hot-dip galvanised iron watering can is built to last for many years. After manufacturing, the watering can is hot-dip galvanised – a process where it is immersed in a zinc alloy at 460 degrees. This is one of the most effective ways to protect the iron from rust. The thick zinc surface not only provides long durability but also a beautiful, vibrant appearance. Watering cans that retain their natural zinc colour will slowly oxidise over time and acquire a more matte surface. This is a natural patination that only makes the can more beautiful with time. A durable watering can like this can be used both indoors and outdoors, and because it is made of hot-dip galvanised metal, you can leave water in it between waterings.
