A bit of history: This will be a bit long here, but I think it is interesting. Lindner is a family-run porcelain factory in Upper Franconia. Since 1932. The development of kaolin deposits in numerous regions in Germany (northern Bavaria, Upper Franconia, Upper Palatinate, Lower Silesia, Saxony, Thuringia) laid the foundation for a national porcelain industry in the mid-19th century. In the years that followed, isolated strongholds for ceramic processing emerged, including the market town of Küps, which around 1900 was home to more porcelain factories than all of Germany today. Of the once so many well-known producers in the town (Albert Rosenlöcher, Wenck & Zitzmann, Ohnemüller & Ulrich, Julius Edelstein, Wilhelm Rittirsch), only one survived the crisis in German industry in the 1970s: Lindner Porzellanfabrik KG. Today it is considered "one of the last bastions of white gold in Bavaria" (Fränkischer Tag, March 16, 2022). The 15-person workforce led by owner Werner Gossel has an impressive collection of more than 30,000 molds and countless decorative patterns. From this versatile range, they offer a selection of products for the kitchen and bathroom. All items share the typical properties of porcelain: they do not corrode, withstand high temperatures, are acid-resistant, lightfast, colorfast, and food-safe, completely taste- and odor-free, allergy-friendly, cut- and scratch-resistant, and practically indestructible.
