This workshop has been working with natural materials for more than 70 years, ever since their predecessor, Yoji Fukami, started making hemp palm ropes in his own home around 1950. This fern broom is made in Japan by skilled craftsmen. The traditional techniques were learned in Kyoto and further developed from there. Each broom is carefully handmade, and the difference between these brooms and mass-produced products is clear. Our hope is that the broom not only helps to clean the home but also provides a sense of peace and calm. Each broom is created with great care — so you can tidy up, clean, and smile a little while doing so. ✨ |
