FLOS

Flos means flower in Latin. Today it also means artistic, innovative, and above all striking lamps.

Flos was founded in 1962 by the Italian brothers Dino Gavina and Cesare Cassina, and the artistic expression and standard have been highly valued from the start. They became truly known after they entered a collaboration with the French star designer Philippe Starck in the 1980s. Many other leading designers have also created lamps for Flos. One of my favorites is Achille Castiglioni, who together with Pier Giacomo designed the beautiful, cheeky Taccia, and the fun and lovely Gatto.

With a Flos lamp you get not just lighting, but lighting art. The products are often provocative and groundbreaking without compromising the basic and often simple principles of design.

The beautiful lamps from Flos are shown in design museums and exhibitions worldwide, but can also easily come to hang in your home. The lamps are truly special and add a wow factor to every room.
