Cake dish • Enamel • Splatter Red

An enamel cake dish with the characteristic 'splatter' pattern in blue and white. The dish can of course be used for layer cake, but also for fruit and vegetables on the kitchen table or cheese on the dining table. It's very festive and only makes the layer cake even more beautiful.

Crow Canyon from California has been producing enamel since 1979. The enamel is made of two layers of porcelain that are laid as a surface on steel, resulting in a shiny and durable material. The enamel will not be destroyed if you drop it, but there may be small chips in the enamel, which you just have to think are charming. The steel will oxidize, but the product will remain safe to use for food, even with the small rejects.
